Faculty and staff at schools are often uninformed during school shootings because communication is limited. They cannot see the full scope of the situation. Also, substitute teachers and temporary staff are not subjected to the same level of training that full-time teachers are required to complete. This problem could also arise during fires, gas leaks, or other hazardous situations. We want to design a software that can broadcast a school’s existing security camera footage to faculty/staff in the building so they can make more informed decisions about what to do with their students in these dangerous situations.
