Every year 350,000 Americans suffer out of hospital heart attacks, every minute a victim is without defibrillation their odds of surviving decrease 7-10%. With an average rural ambulance response time of 14 minutes leading to an out of hospital heart attack survival rate just over 10%. Our team is looking into how drones, or other modern technologies,  might decrease time from heart attack to defibrillation; therefore, increasing survival rates.
