We are minimizing teen driver distractions to make them safer drivers over time. 10% of teenage driver deaths were the result of distracted driving and nearly 40% confessed to using their phone while driving. This issue poses a serious safety concern for all drivers and carries massive financial costs.

Our solution offers a small, disguisable gadget that smoothly attaches to the teen’s key. This key is connected to an app that is downloaded by both the teen and parent(s).

Each time the key gets plugged into the car, the app causes the phone to enter Do Not Disturb mode and prevents the teen from accessing apps other than the ones the parents have listed as acceptable to use while driving (namely, map apps).

An image will get sent to the parents to confirm that the teen is indeed a passenger for this drive. This app gives parents a level of control over which apps the teen can access while driving and makes it more difficult for the teen to circumvent the app by claiming to be a passenger.
