Curbing the improper waste disposal in hospitals, ICU, and operating rooms. By decreasing the extent of improper waste disposal, healthcare professionals who work in hospitals and other healthcare facilities will work in a safer environment and recycle more effectively.

Improper waste disposal is the disposal of waste in a way that has negative consequences for the environment. Examples include littering, hazardous waste that is dumped into the ground, and not recycling items that should be recycled. Even a spoonful of peanut butter left in a jar can contaminate a ton of recyclable paper and render it useless. This is how we contribute to the growing amount of recycling materials daily rejected at waste management centers, costing recycling programs millions of dollars every year.
